Happy Monday! I am working to get the contact list and regional performance schedule done, and hope to have both items to send out to our regions teachers by next week.
News: Did one of your classes or ensembles do something newsworthy? If so, please send me the details for our next issue of the Voice Magazine. THE DEADLINE FOR NEWS is THIS FRIDAY, NOV. 2nd.

WFW Music Department Quesadilla Factory Takeover

MESSAGE FROM SCOTT KETRON
Clock Hours Through NAfME Academy
If you anticipate taking an online workshop through the NAfME Academy® and want to earn OSPI clock hours through WMEA you must contact[email protected] before enrolling in a class. All clock hours activity must be pre-approved. WMEA is not able to grant clock hours for any past events.
Ride MAX Light Rail at the Conference
Consider staying in any of the three delegate hotels listed as conference hotels. Delegates will receive complimentary MAX Light Rail day passes in their conference packets. This will help you avoid parking issues. The Oregon Convention Center doesn’t have as many parking spaces as there would be cars if all of us drive each day. Enjoy a train ride and avoid Portland traffic!
Election Day is Tuesday November 6, 2018
It is so easy to vote here. Please don’t forget. The state mails a ballot, a voter’s pamphlet and pays the postage for you to return your completed ballot. No excuses! Do it while you’re thinking about it!
